Gather your family around the fire pit and immerse yourselves into the glorious Herefordshire countryside. Wake up to these incredible views of the Black Mountains from the comfort of your bell tent. Pop on the kettle and plan the day's activities, whilst listening to the birds and sheep.
Our small quiet rural glamping site consists of three tents, each with comfy mattresses, their own fire pit and allocated toilets and showers.

OUR TENTS
We have three tents, named after local breeds of sheep, which you may be able to spot on local walks.
Ready for the 2024 season, we've upgraded Beulah to a 5m family tent. just like Ryeland.
All tents have fabulous views of the Black Mountains.
OUR FACILITIES
Welcome
Check in is from 4pm. Emily will show you the facilities and provide you with a welcome pack, including milk and homemade goodies.
Quality Tents
Our tents are made by Life Under Canvas, who make quality 100% cotton canvas tents. All the joys of camping without the hassle!
Toilets and Showers
Each tent has its own allocated portaloo and shower room in our bespoke handmade trailer . Environmentally friendly toiletries are provided.
Firepits and Hammocks
There is a fire pit and hammock at each tent, The first batch of logs/charcoal are provided, as well as some marshmallows for roasting! The fire pit is suitable for cooking on.
Dog Friendly
We welcome friendly dogs to stay at Grove Farm but as we are in a farming area, dogs must stay on a lead at all times.
Essentials and Equipment
You will be provided with with cooking equipment, picnic plates, utensils, glasses and mugs. There will be essentials such as oil, salt and pepper, coffee and tea. There is a cool box at your tent, as well as access to fridges in the communal area.

THINGS TO DO
Walking
Straight out of your tent and you are onto public foot paths. From here there are many local short walks exploring Walterstone Common and the local villages. Or if you fancy a day out challenge, head for the Black Mountains or Skirrid. Amazing views and you can try to spot your tent from the top
Activities
Rowlestone Court Farm is great for kids with their playground and delicious ice cream!
For anyone interested in history, there are plenty of castles close by, Longtown Castle can be reached by foot, or the Three Castles Loop of Grosmont, Skenfirth and White Castle are a short drive away.
Animal lovers could book Llama trekking, visit the donkey rescue centre in Longtown or visit the Abergavenny falconry centre.
Wild Swimming
The benefits of wild swimming are becoming more well know as the sport become more popular. Feel the buzz and exhilaration of the cold water at two local spots. Keepers Pond up on Blorenge offers amazing views whilst you swim, whilst Skenfirth offers a river swim behind the castle.
Biking
Dirt Farm is just a short drive away and offers a number of mountain bike downhill trails. For the road cyclists, two National Cycle Network routes are short rides away. You can head to Hay on Wye via route 42 or take in Grosmont and Skenfirth Castles via route 46. Electronic bike hire is available locally, ask for more details.
Local Towns
There are various villages nearby worth exploring. Eywas Harold has a huge common and highly recommended fish and chips shop!
Abergavenny is a lovely town, plenty of shops to wander round, gardens and river walks.
And Relax!
Bring a book, put your feet up in the hammock and switch off whilst listening to the birds and sheep.
