Introducing our new Communal Marquee at Grove Farm Glamping

Inside our new marquee

As I'm sure you've all noticed the winter of 2023-2024 has been wet, wet, wet and so we've spent a lot of time improving and weather proofing our facilities at Grove Farm Glamping. Whilst we want our guests to be outside in nature (ideally in the sunshine!) so they are able to appreciate the beauty of their location, the views and to cook outside, we also want you to be able to book and know your stay won't be ruined if there is a bit of rain! So we have kept the cooking facilities at the tents the same (but with new picnic benches and lounge chairs to sit on) and put together a communal area, which is fully weather proofed, has improved cooking facilities, extra seating and all the games, kids activity packs and local information.

Communal cooking facilities include:

  • Kettle

  • Toaster

  • Microwave Oven Grill

  • Electric Hobs

  • Cutlery

  • Knives

  • Egg cups and free range eggs from our chickens

Each tent will still have their own allocated:

  • Fridge/freezer

  • Frying pan and sauce pan

  • Picnic cutlery, crockery and glasses

  • Water carrier

Entertainment table with kids activity packs, games and local information
Our entertainment table

Our entertainment table offers a way to keep the kids busy whilst you cook too. The activity packs include four activities, including a word search and colouring-in, which are perfect rainy day distractions.

Once darkness hits, have a read through the information on space and how to locate different star formations. The Black Mountains and The Brecon Beacons are a dark skies area so you should be able to appreciate the stars from your tent. We quite regularly spot shooting stars too.

Tables and chairs with candles and fairy lights

Fairy lights and LED candles light the marquee once darkness hits, so you can spend the whole evening here if needed. Don't forget there is also an excellent pub, The Carpenters Arms just a 5-10 minute walk away. A really traditional country pub offering great pub grub and an excellent steak.

We hope this new addition to Grove Farm Glamping will be a great improvement and also reduce any worries you might have about staying in a bell tent with the Great British weather!

Please do let us know if you think there is anything extra you'd like to see in the marquee or anywhere else on Grove Farm as we are always striving to improve your experience.
